To keep down prices for Merchants, Kase is focused on using our team and warehouse space efficiently.
TRUCK APPOINTMENTS
To ensure we have the appropriate staffing levels available at the correct time, Merchants are required to schedule any delivery or pickup appointments through our appointment scheduling software. Unless Kase or its affiliates arranged the transportation, Merchant shall pay Kase a fee of $50 per incident for every instance of a missed delivery/pickup appointment, a late arrival for a delivery/pickup appointment (more than 30 minutes after the scheduled appointment time), or arriving to our facility for a delivery/pickup without an appointment.
Carriers that arrive without a scheduled appointment or outside of the scheduled time will be serviced as Kase’s labor capacity permits. Kase is not responsible for any detention or similar charges related to such arrivals.
ORDER STAGING
Kase will focus on processing B2B orders such that the product is picked, packed and staged for pickup by Merchant’s specified pickup date. Merchant will be provided three free days to keep its product in the staging location (the date of scheduled pickup and the two following days). Following the third day, Merchant will be charged $50 per pallet footprint per day that the product remains in the staged location.
None of the above penalties shall apply if Kase is managing Merchant’s transportation.
