Use this automation to receive an email notification anytime a Wholesale (B2B) order changes to “Packed”.
Before you start
- This automation is specific to B2B (Wholesale) orders by using a B2B=True condition.
- Automations typically apply to all warehouses unless specified (per the note shown on the page).
Step-by-step
- Go to Automations
- Log into the Kase app
- Select Automations from the left-hand menu
- Stay on the Create Automation tab
2. Set the Condition (B2B Orders Only)
Under Condition, set the fields as follows:
- 1st Dropdown: Order Field
- 2nd Dropdown: B2B
- 3rd Dropdown: is
- 4th Dropdown: True
This ensures the automation only triggers for Wholesale (B2B) orders.
3. Set the Trigger Event (When Status Changes to Packed)
Under Trigger Event, set:
- Trigger: Order Status Changes
- To: Packed
4. Set the Action (Send an Email Notification)
Under Action, set:
- 1st Dropdown: Send Notification
- 2nd Dropdown: Email
- Recipient field: Enter your email address (or the email(s) you want notified)
(Optional) Add a note in the text box if you’d like, but it’s not required.
5. Save the Automation
Once your setup matches the screenshot example, select Save
What you’ll receive
Every time a B2B order is updated to Packed, you’ll receive an email notifications that includes the order number, similar to the example screenshot provided.
Quick Troubleshooting
- Not receiving emails? Confirm the order is truly B2B=True and the status changes specifically to Packed.
- Triggering on non-B2B orders? Double-check the Condition is set to B2B is True.
- Too many notifications? Consider using a shared inbox/distribution list (if supported by your email rules), or route to a team mailbox.
